Financial Aid Counselor
This position works as part of a team and is responsible for counseling current and prospective students and families on financial aid requirements, application procedures, aid programs, financing options, and indebtedness. The Financial Aid Counselor also reviews student files and calculates eligibility for federal, state, and institutional financial aid. They must also understand federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations related to aid eligibility, awarding and disbursement. Performs special projects as directed.
Adjunct Faculty - Accelerated Sciences (Part-Time)
Accelerated Sciences
Part-time instructors are responsible for teaching intensive sciences in Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Physics. Designed for the working professional, Accelerated Science courses are scheduled on two full days a week (Monday/Tuesday, Thursday/Friday and Saturday/Sunday), across 5 weeks (instructors may be assigned to teach both lecture and lab, or just the lecture or just the lab).

This position is primarily responsible for teaching or assisting in the classroom and/or laboratory setting in the Foundational Health Sciences section of the curriculum, which includes topics such as Human Anatomy, Biomechanics, Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry and Immunology & Infection.
Director of Tactical Strength and Conditioning
Tactical Sports Medicine
Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitators® (TSAC-F®) apply scientific knowledge to physically train military, fire and rescue, law enforcement, protective services, and other emergency personnel to improve performance, promote wellness, and decrease injury risk. They conduct needs analyses and physical testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, and provide general information regarding nutrition. Recognizing their area of expertise is separate and distinct, TSAC - Facilitators consult with and refer those they train to other professionals when appropriate. The SCU Director of Tactical Strength And Conditioning must have a TSAC certification from the NSCA. Experience in strength and conditioning is required. Additional certifications such as the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or Level 1 certifications in track and field or weightlifting are helpful.
